Customised Industrial Water chiller (-5°C) – Biogas application at JANA SANITARY LANDFILL

JANA SANITARY LANDFILL, 3MWe LANDFILL GAS POWER PLANT at Jeram is owned and managed by Worldwide Environment Renewable Energy division Jana Landfill Sdn Bhd

One of the by-product of solid waste disposals is Landfill Gas (LFG) consist of Methane and Carbon Dioxide. Both gases are described as Greenhouse Gases thus contributing to the thinning of Ozone Layer and Global Warming.

LFG generated from anaerobic microbe activities during waste decaying process is collected through intricate and systematic network of collection pipes which will be will be collected and transferred to landfill gas power plant to be converted into electricity.

The role for our chiller in this process is to act as an air dryer to remove the moisture from the landfill gas and supply dry gas to the engine for power generation.

This chiller system is a custom made chiller designed solely for biogas application, we are one of the pioneer in biogas chiller for South East Asia and we have supplied and installed biogas chiller in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Landfill Gas Power plant I’d one of the best method to deal with the problem of Landfill gas emission into the atmosphere. LFG power plant also treat the noxious gas components of LFG while at the same time make use of the energy potential of methane gas component to produce electricity
